Assistance with Accommodation and Tenancy Obligations allows eligible NDIS participants to discover most suitable accommodation options and make appropriate choices.
At AHCCS, we guide participants through the accommodation/tenancy process and ensure that they obtain/retain a stable accommodation.
Having a stable accommodation is one of the very first steps towards starting to live an independent life. We are aware of the fact that it may be hard for some participants to liaise with concerned authorities, hence, this support service allows us to act on their behalf.
Our support workers assist you with:
- Liaising with real estate agents
- Undertaking tenancy obligations
- Tenancy applications
- Connecting you to concerned authorities
- Achieving your accommodation goals
It is important for participants to understand the importance of a stable, long-term accommodation as not everyone is able to manage transitions easily and it would directly impact their growth journey.
AHCCS will make sure that all your requirements are taken into consideration so that you can live safely, happily, and independently.
